I used to work with his mom and she introduced us!





  • We were vacationing in Denver visiting another couple who's good friends of ours. We were all driving through the mountains and stopped at a turnout for some pictures. Matt took the opportunity to surprise me and dropped to one knee and proposed! The backdrop was gorgeous - the view was a vast mountain range sprinkled with snow. Unforgettable!
  • The location, the outfits, the food, the party!

  • What kind of food will you have? Food will be mini versions of classic American food (i.e. sliders, sliced grilled cheese, mini chicken & waffles)
  • Relaxed, outdoor, and a little bit of an Americana feel thrown in there.
  • Try on several outfits before your shoot.




  • It was super fun! I was pretty nervous, so we met our photographers at a brewery downtown and had a couple beers before the session, which helped ha! We needed total guidance on how to pose (or not pose), and Tara was so good with us.

I absolutely love photographing couples at Pomeroy Farm Wedding Venue in Yacolt WA! It is by far one of my favorite venues. I love that is a historical venue. The history is so neat, the property is absolutely stunning and the family who owns and operates the wedding venue and historic farm are just the sweetest.
