"Sometimes you just know" Mark and Lindsay Engaged {Vancouver WA Wedding Photographer}

"Sometimes you just know!" That's what Mark said to me as he explained his marriage proposal story. I listened to him as he described the experience and I watch her face light up with the most beautiful gleam. Totally and Completely in L O V E.  (All the feels people seriously!)  The way he spoke about Lindsay and how much he loves and wants to marry her-- I thought to myself "I have to photograph this wedding" 
I'm such a sucker for love.. but sometimes I have these clients that I just completely fall in love with!! (who am I kidding.. I love all of them) But- this particular couple just made me so excited to document their special day. Seriously- I'm so honored that I get to photograph their wedding at The Country Garden Estates this summer! 
These two just hit the road and moved to Sunny Arizona. With about a week's notice, we managed to squeeze in an engagement session just before they left. It was a super yucky rainy forecast-- One I'm particularly used to, living in the NW as Photographer. Sometimes it can be a challenge to find the location, when it's super cold and wet outside.  So we hopped in their truck and we drove around downtown Vancouver. I had an idea of where I wanted to go and I told them I'm going to just look for areas based on the light and what inspired me. 
I actually love being forced out of my comfort zone and finding a new unexpected place to shoot. So here are the images from Mark and Lindsay's Engagement Session:

I absolutely love photographing couples at Pomeroy Farm Wedding Venue in Yacolt WA! It is by far one of my favorite venues. I love that is a historical venue. The history is so neat, the property is absolutely stunning and the family who owns and operates the wedding venue and historic farm are just the sweetest.  Hello friends,  I wanted to hop on and answer a question I get all the time... How do you start a photography business?  Yep, I know it's kind of a broad question but believe me I get tons of emails, Facebook messages, and Instagram DMs with people flat out asking for me to help them get started.  I don't mind, really I'm happy to help but if I really truly shared every bit of information with every single person who reached out it would take me hours and hours to put it all together and I would be giving away everything I have done/learned.
