How long have you been together? 14 years Tell me the story of how you met: I was 17, a junior in high school. My best friend wanted “hook me up” with a guy her senior boyfriend worked with...when we met he brought a friend and instead I fell instantly, madly in love with him as he bit a beer cap off a glass bottle in the parking lot of the Salmon Creek Taco Bell. They had just came from a Blazer game, my parents were out with their friends so we hung out at my house until 4-5am! I told my best friend that night/morning after they’d left that I was gonna marry that guy (Dallas)...not the guy I was supposed to “hook up” with!! Hahahaaa! ....and MAN....I wouldn’t have it any other way! What do you love most about your partner? His pretty bright blue eyes and his smile when he genuinely laughs! His snuggles put me to sleep at night and he’s the BEST father to our 3 crazy creatures we created together! Do you have kids? if so how many? 3 Do you celebrate your anniversary?

Wedding/Anniversary Date: November 22, 2019 How long have you been together? Married 10 years together 13 Tell me the story of how you met: My husband and I met when I was 15 and became friends with some of his friends. We both dated other people and never had an attraction for each other until we were older we ran into each other at a get-together. To be honest, the first time he asked me for my phone number I told him, "no." A year and half later or so we ran into each other at another get-together and finally went on our first hang out together a couple weeks later. We have been inseparable since. Never would have thought that the guy I didn't give my number to would be my partner for life and dad of my 3 kids. What do you love most about your partner? He makes me laugh. This family touched my heart when I came across a post from Susana on Facebook about her daughter Aaliyah's first chemo treatment. We somehow became friends through mutual friends on FB but I didn't know her before that post. Her 2 year old Aaliyah was diagnosed with Leukemia just around Thanksgiving.  I instantly felt I needed to contact her. I don't know what they are going through, I can only imagine.  I do know that families often get so busy with medical appointments and the stress of fighting illnesses that it can be hard to do regular family things like have your photos taken or just have fun together. I wanted to give them the gift of family photos so that they could have these now. Things are looking really good so far and their family is optimistic and hopeful. They are ready to fight and win. I pray for their strength and for Aaliyah's health to improve.  Susana is starting a journal and just set up an account on caring bridge. To follow their battle
