Pomeroy Farm Wedding, Jesse and Sierra
I absolutely love photographing couples at Pomeroy Farm Wedding Venue in Yacolt WA! It is by far one of my favorite venues. I love that is a historical venue. The history is so neat, the property is absolutely stunning and the family who owns and operates the wedding venue and historic farm are just the sweetest. They offer a variety of events throughout the year for families to visit and learn about the farm. Pumpkin lane is one of my favorites in October! If you haven't been out to see this beautiful historic Farm, Wedding Venue, and winery you should definitely plan a visit!

My favorite part of photographing this wedding was working with the bridal party. Everyone was so fun, laid back, and down for whatever I suggested. From getting ready to the first look to bridal party photos. The Bridemaids were all amazing and the groomsmen were super fun. I loved shooting the romantic photos in the barn as well as doing fun shots of everyone running toward the camera. The groomsmen wanted to do push up photos and it was hilarious. I'd say the entire day was fun, intimate, and full of love just the way they wanted it.
I always try to throw in some really fun poses during the bridal party portraits. Sometimes the group will think I am crazy but the end results are always great. I love doing something different that will capture a little more personality. I love getting people to laugh and play and just feel silly for a minute. Most of the time it results in genuine smiles and expressions that you just can't pose.

Loved this shot of the groom and his dad along with groomsmen and friends shotgunning some coors light.
