One of the many things I love about my job is the opportunity I have to reconnect with old friends and celebrate very exciting times with them. This is Sarah. Sarah and I have known each other since I was in 2nd grade. We grew up together in elementary and middle school. I remember going to birthday parties at her house and riding the school bus together. We reconnected through Facebook over the past few years. I am so honored that she approached me to document her journey to motherhood. Sarah is totally rocking this baby bump and she is going to be such a great mommy! She is smart and successful and I can't wait to meet her sweet little baby Emmett. I felt the need to post a blog with a collection of some of my favorite images from 2013. I've had the opportunity to photograph so much love, so many smiles, so many firsts, so many beautiful weddings, new babies, kisses, laughter, tears and more. I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people and build new friendships. I've had the opportunity to snuggle some tiny new babies and capture them at just a couple days old.
