Heathen Estates-- A new Wedding Venue and Winery in Clark County

Image
I had the opportunity to work with several local wedding vendors to create a live styled shoot during the soft-opening of the new Heathen Estate in Brush Prairie, WA. The venue is gorgeous and will make for a beautiful place to hold outdoor weddings and events. They also have the home listed on Airbnb. The day of the event it was super rainy and muddy so we were limited on where we could go with these beautiful gowns but we managed to stay somewhat dry and use the available covered porch and walk ways to get some beautiful shots. Here are some of my favorite images shot during the soft-opening. I went to college to an art teacher because I love helping people and I love art--- I still do!  but I always had this DREAM of being a professional photographer. A few years later, I me

Ryan and Tiffany's Portland Wedding.  This wedding was different than any other wedding I've shot. Partially because the couple was so super cool and fun to work with but also because it had more locations than any other wedding I've done. We started at the Kennedy school, Then headed downtown to the hotel where the bride was getting ready then back to the otherside of town to the wedding venue then back downtown for the reception. 😳  It was a little crazy to think about how it was all going to work when creating the timeline-- but it worked.  What an incredible day it was. Seriously I am so so lucky, I get to work with such awesome couples like Ryan and Tiff.  When I met them, I knew their wedding was going to be such a fun day to capture.  I had the best time getting to know them at their engagement session and talking over all the wedding details. So day of, when I showed up to the Mcmenamins Kennedy school to photograph the guys and I saw chalk art that read &qu
